Marvel Studios has finally ended the prolonged speculation surrounding the title of its highly anticipated Agatha Harkness show, officially announcing it as "Agatha All Along." The series, a spinoff of the hit Disney+ show WandaVision, is set to premiere on September 18 with a two-episode debut.
The title change, which has undergone several transformations from "Agatha: House of Harkness" to "Agatha: Coven of Chaos" and most recently, "Agatha: Darkhold Diaries," has been a topic of much speculation and guessing games for years. The new title, "Agatha All Along," is derived from the catchy theme song debuted in episode 7 of "WandaVision," which gained significant popularity and even earned composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez an Emmy award.
The series, starring Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, will feature a talented ensemble cast, including Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Emma Caulfield, and Debra Jo Rupp. The show's plot and details remain under wraps, but fans can expect a thrilling continuation of the story that began in "WandaVision."
The premiere date announcement comes as part of Disney's upfront presentation to advertisers in New York City, where the company also revealed release windows for other Marvel shows, including "Daredevil: Born Again" and "Ironheart." The presentation showcased the exciting lineup of upcoming Marvel shows on Disney+, giving fans a glimpse into what's to come in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Stay tuned for further updates on "Agatha All Along" and other Marvel Disney+ series as more information becomes available.
